United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is a World Heritage Site where things are listed like forest, mountain, lake, island, desert, monument, building, complex, or city by the UNESCO as of special cultural or physical import. The list is controlled by the international World Heritage Programme administered by the Committee of UNESCO World Heritage, easy of 21 states parties which are elected by their General Assembly. This is exhibit by an international arrangements called the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, accepted by UNESCO in 1972.

Recently six awesome forts of Rajasthan, including the Amber fort here, on Friday got cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO taking the total number of properties with the acceptance in the state. Now there are total eight sites of Rajasthan which are in World Heritage site along with two sites included two sites before they are Ghana Bird Sanctuary, Bharatpur and Jantar Mantar, Jaipur. The six sites including on recently they are Amber Fort, Chittorgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Ranthambore Fort, Jaisalmer Fort and Gagron Fort.
